Opening lecture: “Lockwood de Forest at Bryn Mawr College: Exoticism and Eclecticism,” Roberta A. Mayer, Professor Emerita of Art History, Bucks County Community College. Followed by reception in the Rare Book Room, Canaday Library.

October 25, 2019: 
Friday Finds with Roberta A. Mayer, Professor Emerita of Art History, Bucks County Community College. A conversation with Dr. Mayer about her career and recent research on L.C. Tiffany in North Africa.

November 1, 2019: 
“Lockwood de Forest on Campus” campus tour, led by Nina Blomfield, PhD candidate and curator of exhibition.

November 8, 2019: 
“Object Study: Looking Closely at the Ahmedabad Wood Carving Company,” exhibition study session led by Katie Loney, PhD Candidate, University of Pittsburgh, and Nina Blomfield.

November 15, 2019:
“Training the Eye: Architects’ Travel Drawings in the 1880s and 1890s,” Jeffrey A. Cohen, Professor in Growth and Structure of Cities, Bryn Mawr College.

December 6, 2019: 
Friday Finds with Molly Seiler (BMC ’83), President, Molly Seiler Art Advisory & Appraisal Services. A conversation with Seiler about her research on Lockwood de Forest and her roles in museum collections and art appraisal.

February 7, 2020: 
Fords on Friday/Friday Finds with Will Coleman (HC ’07), Director of Collections & Exhibitions, The Olana Partnership. Organized in collaboration with Haverford Center for Career and Professional Advising. A conversation with Dr. Coleman on the relationship between Frederic E. Church and Lockwood de Forest, followed by a Q&A advising session on arts careers.
